Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of ConvertLens ("the app"), operated by Abdul Wahhab. By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms.
The service
ConvertLens audits Shopify product detail pages and returns scores and recommendations to help merchants improve conversion rate. The service is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those required by applicable law. Recommendations are advisory; you are responsible for what you implement on your store.
Plans and billing
Subscriptions are managed by Shopify Billing. The Free tier offers 5 lifetime audits. Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. You can change or cancel your plan any time from your Shopify admin.
Cancelling your plan does not uninstall the app. To stop all future charges you must also uninstall ConvertLens from your Shopify admin under Settings → Apps. Cancelling changes your plan; uninstalling ends billing.
Refunds and credits
We honour a 14-day money-back guarantee, once per store, on your first paid charge of any plan, if you’re not happy within 14 days of that charge, we refund it in full. If you cancel or downgrade partway through a billing period, we issue a prorated credit for the unused portion rather than a cash refund. Individual failed or cached audits are never charged. The Free tier is never billed, so no refunds apply.
Refunds and credits are applied through Shopify Billing to your Shopify invoice or payment method. To request one, contact us from the in-app Support page (choose the “Billing / refund” category); we review requests within your plan’s support window.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Audit pages you do not own or have permission to audit (the app will not let you audit anything outside your connected Shopify store).
- Attempt to enumerate or scrape shared-link URLs (we rate-limit public link views to deter this).
- Reverse-engineer the audit rubric or scoring engine for the purpose of building a competing product.
- Misrepresent ConvertLens audits as third-party endorsements.
Shared links
Every completed audit gets a shareable public URL by default. You can disable that default globally in Settings, or revoke individual links from the audit results page. Shared pages are intentionally unbranded with shop information (see Privacy Policy).
Intellectual property
ConvertLens, the rubric, the knowledge-base content, and the app code are owned by the operator. Audit reports generated for your store are yours to use as you see fit.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
Termination
You may uninstall the app at any time from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate the service for breach of these Terms, with notice where reasonable. On termination, data retention follows the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction TBD]. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Jurisdiction TBD].
Changes
Material changes to these Terms will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
